Aquarium Co-Op Easy Seachem Tidal Optimizer

Aquarium Co-Op Easy Seachem Tidal Optimizer

Aquarium Co-Op Easy Seachem Tidal Optimizer

    • Deletes Surface Skimming
    • Makes Seachem Tidal Filters safer for fry and shrimp
    • Angled intake to position pre-filter sponge off back wall of aquarium

The Easy Seachem Tidal Optimizer solves the biggest complaint with Tidal filters, the surface skimming, side skimming, and unprotected intake on the Tidal 35. We've optimized this 3D printed intake to replace the stock intake and cover. This allows all the suction to come in from our intake. The filter is further optimized when you install a medium coarse pre filter sponge on the 35/55 and a large coarse pre filter sponge on the 75/110. This intake helps to keep your floating plants from getting sucked into the surface skimmer. Note that tiny shrimplets and very small fry can still get into the pre-filter sponge. It's recommended to raise fry with sponge filters only, or turn down the flow on the Tidal filters to maximize fry survival.

    Directions/Specifications

Tidal 35/55 Dimensions: 1" x 5" (designed for the intake to be 9" below the surface, and centered 1.5" off of the rear glass to allow fitment of medium pre-filter sponge. )
