Magenta Dragon Guppy is a selectively bred fancy guppy strain prized for its intense magenta coloration, metallic sheen, and elegant finnage. Dragon-type guppies are known for strong patterning and vibrant pigmentation, and the magenta line is considered rare and high-quality among imported strains. 


Appearance

  • Deep magenta to pink-magenta body coloration
  • Metallic or reflective “dragon” scaling depending on strain genetics
  • Can appear in multiple tail shapes (HM, ribbon, round-tail, etc.) depending on breeder line
    – Listings include magenta tiger, ribbon fin, red/yellow variants

Adult Size

  • Males: 30–40 mm
  • Females: 40–50 mm 

Temperament

  • Peaceful community livebearers
  • Thrive in planted aquariums and mix well with other non‑aggressive fish

  • Prefer warm, moderately hard water
